This ergonomically-shaped compass features a rolling map measurer--trace over any trail on your map and instantly know the distance. Fixed declination correction scale accounts for the difference between magnetic and true north. Rolling curvimeter feature lets you measure trails and other features that don't follow straight lines; features are measured on an inch scale. Baseplate with magnifying lens and marking holes allows precise map reading; also includes 1:24, 000 and 1:62, 500 scales. Lanyard with snap hook lets you remove compass quickly for use, then re-attach it for carrying around your neck. Luminous markings for accurate, easy reading in low light.
