Evernew Nonstick Titanium Frypan Cook sets

Evernew Nonstick Titanium Frypan Cook sets

DESCRIPTION

Carry along that extra frying pan on your next trip--titanium construction makes it so lightweight, you'll hardly know it's there. Non-stick interior prevents burning and makes clean-up a snap. Coated wire handle protects hands and provides a solid grip. Handle folds for compact storage.

I dehydrate a lot of my own food and so a lot of my meals involve more than just boiling water. The Evernew non-stick titanium pot sounded like a great deal, but unfortunately, as all the other reviews indicate, these pots stick worse than regular pots. In fact during my 5 nights in the Grand Canyon last week I mostly used my SnowPeak Titanium pot and I am just about to return the Evernew to REI.

very disappointed in the stickness of the 4-piece evernew titanium cookset rec'd for Christmas. cooked first meal at home, eggs (ON LOW LIKE ALWAYS) in one fryer and spam in the other fryer. meat stuck to pot. eggs also stuck even tho heat was kept low enough that they didn't brown. I'll keep carrying the 10-inch non-stick skillet from my bakepacker set - which never sticks and rinses easily

This pan is advertised as super lightweight and non-stick. It is very lightweight. It is not non-stick. In fact it is extra-stick. Cooking oil or margarine may help. "Everglue" is right!

The girlfriend brought it home excited to test it with the new stove before our outing this weekend. Fired up a light "egg cooking" flame and put the pot on..... Viola...."everglue". That should be evernew's new name for the non stick titanium product line. You combine the cost of the titanium and the poor quality of the the nonstick, and they really "stick it to you" har har... I'll buy titanium non stick down the road when they figure out how to get the better triple coat teflon to bond with the titanium. Good marks for the titanium offset by the "everglue" non-stick.

Customer Service

took it back to rei. Simple cash refund and they threw in a couple power bars for good measure. They had a few jokes about the quality of the non stick as well.
