Although I just purchased this cookset this past early spring. I can't say enough about this cookset. I've only used it backpacking fives times and in National Park campsites (car camping) a few times in the past couple of months. Each time I've come to appreciate this cookset more and more. Clean up is a breeze. No more effort than simply whipping them out. The non stick surface is great. Not to mention the even heat dispersion from the black ano outside. The lids/fry pans seal nicly to the pots, keeping much needed heat in. About the only complaint I can say is. Due to the lid/fry pan snugging so tightly to the pot while cooking. It can be a little cumbersome to remove the lid/fry pan from the pot with the handle. It takes a couple of times to get familar with it.When using just a frying pan or pot, the handle is great. Keep in mind. This is a teflon nonstick surface. Sratches are bad. Use only plastic or wood. Generally I put a paper towel between the two pots when packing for larger groups with spices, cookwear etc.. in the smaller pot. When it's just my spouse and I. We only take the large pot/pan and stuff the MSR stove in it, works perfect (our Dragonfly does'nt fit in the small pot. I can't stress enough how important it is to take care of your stove and cookwear in the back country. Keep in mind. If you take care of your equipment, it will take care of you.

Paid: CDN$55 I've owned this set of cookpots for over a year and I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. Although heavier than titanium cookware these pots are excellent performers and provide good value for your hard-earned dollar. The dark, hard-anodized exterior finish is easy to clean and doesn't scratch like painted pots. The non-stick interior is one of the best I've ever used and makes cleanup quick and easy. The interior finish is durable but, as with any non-stick surface, care is required to prevent scratches. The base of each pot features a ridged surface and helps to grip the stove's pot supports. The pots conduct heat very well even if the stove produces a narrow flame (such as my MSR Pocket Rocket). The lids seal well and also double as frypans. The pot lifter is not designed to grasp the pot's lip. It connects to a small handle riveted to the side if each pot. This ensures the pot lifter never grips, and scratches, the interior of the pot. What would I like to see from GSR? 1) An optional lightweight, flat lid for the pots when every ounce counts and you don't need a combination lid/frypan. 2) A lighter pot-lifter.

It's amazing how no-stick makes a difference. Before i got this cookset i was always scrubbing my pots and pans instead of beeing in front of the fire roasting marshmallows. This cookset not only saves time for cleaning but it also spreads the heat really quick ;therefore, it saves time for cooking. The gripper is starting to give up on me but in the conditions i use it im surprised it is still in 1 piece. Great buy for 65$ canadian(about 45 american)

Very good and durable cook set. The handle design is very good. You do neet to be careful when you pack the set together so you don't scratch the surfaces. I suggest placing a paper towell between each pot when packing it away. I got a few small scratches by not being careful. Overall, though, this is a very good set.

Few things more quickly put a smile on a gear-head's face, than a good purchase. This set makes me smile. Good heat conduction, excellent durability, painless cleanup. Nothing sticks to this surface. The larger pot has seen many a meal prep; there are zero scratches on the interior, and no warping. I don't give 5's often, but this stuff is a 5.

Exchanged an MSR Blacklite set (too fragile) for this, and as usual, the REI personnel didn't even blink. Man, I love REI!

Excellent cooking gear. Cleanup was quick and easy. Cooks well and stayed put on my Optimus Nova, no sliding around. Has nice mesh stow pouch and was able to keep a cup stashed inside. Reminds me of the Calphalon cookware I have at home.

I LOVE THIS COOK SET!!!! I had a chance to buy a set that was on sale and $20 less. I told myself that I was going to bite the bullet and get the more quality product. I am so glad that I did. Nothing sticks to it. Put a little water in it, rince it around and bam! your done cleaning up. Hasn''t scratched. Nests very nicley with my Primus stove. I figure it will last three or four times longer than the teflon stuff I was going to buy, so the $50 is actually less expensive. A great set!
