Summary:
Great pack. Tried it for the first time, and have no complaints other than the 5300 cubic inches seems to be an under-estimate. If I were to buy again, I would probably by the next size smalle. The pack is extremly comfortable with 40 lbs on it. It has the advantages of an external, being mostly cooler temps, but also holds a lot of wait with the heavy metal frame. The Kelty back pad is great, and the hip belt they are using is extremely beneificial to my back. There are a lot of adjustments on the pack, including all those prescribed by an internal, which makes this an extremly stable pack. I have not tested it on a rocky trail to test its balance to the max, but just walking with it, on and over logs, there is no problem. Deffinatly worth at least a look, this is the best pack I have owned!!

Customer Service:
Haven't had a need to test.
