Backpacker Summary: This is an outstanding piece of equipment. I lived out of it for literaly thousands of miles across Alaska, Canada, and the states. Starting from Anchorage I was in NY before the web started giving out, and that was the only issue I experienced. Investing in a fresh one to do South America in this fall. Customer Service: Never even used em... Similar Products Used: Cabelas...complete crap compared to this pack. Alice pack in the Marines...not nearly so comfy. Various other packs for hunting in AK...mostly garbage.

Backpacker Summary: I have been using my REI Wonderland for about 10 years or more and still love it. I have tried some of the internal frame packs and they are not as comfortable for me.

Backpacker Summary: I enjoy this pack alot I have never used an internal pack so i cant compare but I have taken this pack to philmont; colorodo; big bend; and many many weekend camping trips. The only problem I have with the equipment are the support poles inside the pack they have become slightly bent and dont always stay in place. also they are a little sharp if you loose the rubber endings as I have...Im looking at upgrading to an osprey but untill then this pack has been my old faithful!

Backpacker
, from davis, ca, usa Summary: ive used my wonderland for 3 or 4 years now and its worked out really well. the only thing that has ever happened to it is that i popped a pin off once i have a small hole in the middle of the backside of the fabric (how it got there i have no idea). this pack holds everything i have needed on my week long treks. i particuarly like the pocket on top of the flap. its perfect for my platypus. my only complaint about the pack is that the piece of fabric that seperates the lower part of the pack (which i generally use for clothes) from the top part (which is the majority of the pack. used for food, tarp, etc.) has a zipper and tends to unzip and things in the top part of the pack can fall through if not fully packed Customer Service: good. they are willing to help you out and try stuff Similar Products Used: cheesy stanford frame pack (my first)

Backpacker
, from Seattle Summary: I used the wonderland backpack to hike the Wonderland trail around Mt. Rainier - 14 days with 9 of them having rain, snow, sleet, or hail. The pack held up remarkably well and kept all my gear dry (with a pack cover, of course). No complaints and I carry it on all my overnight expeditions. Customer Service: REI - the best. Similar Products Used: Old REI external frame pack from 30 years ago. Great huge pack with a pocket at the bottom for the sleeping bag so it isn't just hanging out there.
