Description
This inexpensive headlamp sports many features normally found only on more expensive headlamps. Housing is made from tough, ABS plastic; rubber seal behind light ensures waterproofness. Battery compartment is attached directly to the light to reduce weight and bulkiness; light pivots to point where needed; padded for comfort. Easy access on-off switch on side of light; securely twists on and off to prevent it from accidently turning on in your pack. Includes 4.8 volt, 0.75 amp krypton bulb and rubber head band. Takes 4 AA alkaline batteries - not included.

Summary:
Purchased the Eveready 4 AA battery headlamp. It is very fickle; sometimes it lights; goes out without warning. Tried several sets of new batterys. Suspect an internal wiring problem. Regret buying, since I have used it for less than an hour.

Customer Service:
Can I exchange it for a different one. Threw away my receipt or I would take it back.
