The only problem I have with this bag (if you want to call it a problem) is the smell of the bag. It was drop shipped directly from Marmot and from the minute I opened it up, it has had an odor to it that hasn't seemed to go away, evan after washing it according to Marmot instructions and using NIKWAX down wash.

This bag is the best i have ever owned. I believe it is the late 2005 model. It was basically a steal at $120 especially when the retail is $220+ for the Long version, which I have. I have has it now for about 2 months and no complaints thus far. Some other reviews said that there was some kind of smell when ever it got damp or even right out of the packaging. Mine had no smells, wet or dry. It has a good weight/size ratio. The sack that it came with shrunk it down to the size of a large football which i managed to get smaller with a compression sack. Overall, great bag, great price. I wouldn't have it any other way.

The Exped Traveler a great synthetic summer bag,it keeps me warm down into the low forties, is almost waterproof as far as I can tell and rolls up into it's own little pocket which is about the size of a football. And the best part is, if you get the large, it's inside diameter is 74 inches which means you can use it with your regular bag as a winter overbag to boost it's rating by about 40 degrees.

I've spent about 5 nights in my Sawtooth so far and I'm quite pleased with the bag. It compresses down very nicely and has kept me warm below 20 degrees. I'm 5'10" and 180lbs and the fit is awesome. I could definitely see this bag going down to the low teens or even single digits. The only problem I have with this bag (if you want to call it a problem) is the smell of the bag. Called Marmot and talked with a customer rep. about the bag odor. He was very cordial and suggested washing the bag. That didn't solve my problem, but at least he gave me an honest suggestion.

Fantastic bag. If you want a 20 degree down bag and have $200 to spend, this is the one. Wonderful cut, superb loft, decent weight, reactor-core warmth. Fill power could be higher, but to keep it at this price point, they'd have to cut something else. I'll take midgrade materials for top-grade construction any day.

FogDog didn't ask for a size, so I expected a regular, and a long showed up on my doorstep. It was a markdown, probably because they were out of regulars. I don't really mind, as I enjoy the extra room, but I might hesitate to get anything else from FogDog.

No other down bags in my closet. Its predecessor was a TNF Snowshoe (0*, P3D) that went flat after many years.

Used this bag on Mt. Shasta earlier this year, and spent a very windy night at 11,000 feet in a sub-standard 3 season tent (north face slickrock). Woke up to find everything in the tent covered with blown snow/frost, except my bag. It repelled the moisture incredibly well, and I was toasty all night. No complaints.

The sawtooth is a very good value for the dollar. It is a warm bag where the rating seems to actually apply. I have not had any problems exiting the bag and did not find the zippers a hassle. In fact, I like full length zippers because you can use the sleeping bag as a blanket in warm weather rather than sleeping entirely within it. I have found the bag comfortable and roomy enough for me (regular size). The workmanship and quality of the bag is pretty good. I would recommend this bag to people who sleep cold, who want light weight, and who need durability

Nice, warm, light, comfortable sleeping bag. I agree with many, the temperature rating on this bag is conservative (this is important if you decide to use this bag in the summer, as it is WAY to warm for that). I''ve been as low as 10 and been toasty warm. I find the mummy cord to be a little difficult to work from inside the bag, especially after just getting in and my teeth are chattering. Mates with the MH bag expander. Furthermore, the bag and the expander will stuff into the marmot stuff sack when mated. I have yet to find an exterior poly bag that will fit the stuff sack. I have not found this bag to be a "quick exit" bag -- so if you are cursed with weak kidney syndrome, you might want to consider a different bag. A friend borrowed my spare sawtooth and had zipper issues -- he was using the bag without the MH bag expander and it is very easy to undo the zipper past the end.
