This is a great "novice" stove that kept me fed while camping with a minimum amount of effort. It's probably the least flashy stove available, for any gearheads for whom that's the priary concern. but it's cheap and easy to use. The bulky propane cannisters take up a lot of pack space and are heavy, but they last a long time. For shorter duration hiking/camping or car-camping it's ideal, and you can't beat the price, ease of use or availability/price of the fuel. Puts out a pretty good amount of heat on high and offers very good flame adjustment. In high winds this stove can perfrom poorly due to it's lack of any substantial windscreen.
