Coleman has always been a name I've trusted for car camping. Backpacking, well that might be another story...

My wife and I purchased a Colemen Exponent Oryx 2 tent this spring. We were very pleased with it's performance during 5 recent days of typical high Sierra thunderstorms. Setup is REALLY easy, and breakdown is just as easy.

The tent could use a bigger rain fly, and the weight is a bit much if you are a solo hiker (use a bivy). The tent breaks out well for 2 hikers, one carrying the tent, and the other carrying the rain fly, poles, and stakes. This roughly breaks down to about 2.5 lbs each!
