This is a great tent for solo hiking. Its minimal weight (3-7), and small pack size makes carring a shelter well worth it. Its a single wall tent with one pole, set up and take down is great. There are two flaps or awnings on each side which can be staked out to create a small shelter for your boots or a place to cook. The flaps can also be rolled up to open up the tents' interior for ventilation and for great views!. When the flaps are shut the tent works like a ridge vent on a house keeping moisture to a min on the inside. Basically a cool tent which I have enjoyed for the last five years!

Customer Service

I ordered this tent directly from Garuda. Their policy was to ""try it out"" for thirty days. If you didn't like it you could send it back, with full refund. The people at Garuda were great to talk to and very helpful with questions I had, I didn't speak to customer service I spoke directly with the people who designed and made the tents.

I haven't had this tent too long, but early impressions are very favorable. Quality contruction is apparent as you set it up for the first time. It is surprisingly roomy (for one) inside-I was able to get all my gear inside. I do wish it had a small vestibule (for my boots), but otherwise am very happy. No condensation noted. Ventilation was great, you can arange the doors, vents, etc. to suit yoourself. Quick, easy setup. Weighed 3 lbs. 7 oz. on electronic scales. Only problem is Dana has discontinued this tent, so if you want one you should hurry. It's worth looking for. It's expensive, but the quality definitely seems to be there.

Customer Service

No problem with tent, but have had excellent service form Dana on another matter.
