Thishas been a good tent for the warmer weather of the south, which even in the winter can be a problem in a less well ventilated tent. light wieght and easy to use and carry. this is a well made tent and it holds up well in stormy weather, even in high winds.

This is a Domolite 2, the older version of the Solstice2. We have the aluminum pole model, that weighs 7lbs. & change. It is great for car-camping & backpacking. It has held up in 40kt. gusts on McKittrick ridge, enabled us to illuminate the bears on the Muir trail, (while our friends were blind and fearful in their Arch Rival), And in its tenth year, is showing some daylight at corner stitching. Pretty good for a $125.00 tent. I still haven't found anything much better, although the Garuda Jana looks nice. When it is much below freezing, we lay our raingear on the mesh ceiling, under the fly. It stays pretty warm this way.

Customer Service

Friendly, offered to replace our tent (corner reinforcements were peeling), but I haven't bothered.

this tent has excellent ventilation, great for those sultry summer months, but don't overlook its ability to become virtualy wind proof. Easy to set up, easy to tear down. Great for those lazy camping types who enjoy quality. Nine out ten middle aged mothers of six agree, this is the tent for the whole family to enjoy.

For the price, this is a nice little tent. It is well built and will withstand reasonably high wind loads. The weight is not bad and packs down into a small bag. The two biggest problems that I have hada with this tent are 1. it leaks in heavy rain, not bad but enough to notice. 2. the netting on the wall pannels gets caught on almost anything. Considering its solid performance and low price, I would have to recomend this tent.

I like this tents ease of setting up, and the open screen top. Also packs up very easily. The rain fly was also easy to attach.
