Bought this tent because I couldn''t afford a Bibler, but wanted something really light. This was the lightest 2 person 4 season double wall tent I could find, and for 129 bucks, you can''t go wrong. I''ve used it once so far on a winter backpacking trip in the cascades, and it worked great. Nice vestibule, good headroom, plenty of floor space for 2 6'' tall guys. Ventilation was adequate. Piece of cake to setup, especially if you leave the rainfly attached to the inner tent (saves a step). The supplied stakes suck, so plan on buying new ones. I look forward to using this tent on more extreme adventures. Too bad its discontinued.

This tent holds up well in heavy, wet, oregon cascade snow. It also has a large vestibule, and costs about half as much as some other tents that are almost the same.
Make sure you stake it out at all points and it will maintain great ventilation. If it had two doors, it would be perfect. I bought the footprint also, which is nice to have.

I have used this tent during winter and summer months. It has done very well in both categories. During the winter, the tent is very sturdy and stood up to snow and wind very well. During the summer I recommend not using the fly unless it is going to really rain, the tent with fly can get very warm. Usually I won't even sleep in my bag in the summertime. It is a bit heavy, but well worth it during wind, snow, rain, or anything else extreme that mother nature can throw at you. Great overall tent.

Nice tent for the dollar. I've been above timberline (In 3 season weather), in heavy
rainfall, & moderate winds with no problems whatsoever. This is a 1999 model with the "eyelid" vents in the fly - condensation is not a problem if you adjust your
ventilation to the weather & insisde tent activity. Vestibule is a plus for gear & occasional "emergency cooking". Weight is a bit heavy but satns up to moderate snowfall. My favorite general purpose tent.

Versatile, durable, and surprisingly roomy. About the only complaint I have is that the gear loft could have been bigger.

I've used this tent a lot, but then I got married and had a kid and, well, I do not use it as much now. I never had any problems(zippers, seams, whatever). It is very basic and simple, no unnecessary bells and whistles. Simple, reliable and light-just what the doctor ordered.
