Climber Summary: I work in this harness on a daily basis and have been for two years now. My all around ezperience has been a good one. It is a good harness for belaying but not as good for long climbs where you have to put weight on it often. The waiste tends to slide up, even more so for smaller people, making it an uncomfortable fit. Also the leg loops tend to cut into my thigh more so than others. It does have a good design when it comes to gear loops and buckles though. would not reccommend for big wall Similar Products Used: Black diamond bod !!!!!

Climber Summary: I bought this harness about a year ago, and it was my first harness that wasn't one being hired at a gym, or used with Scouts. Comfort is the word here. This harness is really comfortable and very adjustable. I'm about 5'10", 160lbs, and am near the lower end of adjustments for size 1 though. So skinny people will definately need to try before buying. I've found the harness great for indoor and outdoor rock climbing, and mountaineering as well. The gear loops hang low which means they're still accessible with a pack on, so you're not left racking on shoulder straps etc. And the fast forward idea works, a full rack sits quite well, and is easy to reach. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. Similar Products Used: Various gym harnesses

, from Berkshire, England Summary: First Harness bought though a few cheaper models used at various walls. I bought this as a beginner/intermediate and my wife bought one as a beginner. We were looking for a harness that would accomodate us as we moved outdoors and into mountaineering. I've had a few light indoor falls with the harness and found it to be very comfortable in general use and during a fall, as has my wife. Customer Service: Buying through Cotswold is very good, they'll usually have someone experienced in the sport and spend time with you as you try different models. Similar Products Used: cheaper wall rental models, Petzl, I think.

, from Mertztown PA USA Summary: This seemed a first a great harness. I have two friends that love it. I sent mine back. I was a little too big. It only comes in two sizes and I bought the smallest. I am male 5ft 6in tall and 135lb. Although the waist was snug enough the split band around the back was too wide for my small frame. The top of the harness rubbed on the bottom of my rib cage on both side. Also the rise was too big. The leg loops did not keep the waist from riding up on me. If you are a small guy look out. Otherwise it seemed very well maid with a great design. It does not have a hall loop Customer Service: I love shoreline, never had any problems. I buy most of my stuff from them.
