Description
Gripped and hanging onto sheer ice--Smiley's Ice screws bite hard and hold fast. Ultra-sharp teeth dig in for quick penetration; parabolic-shaped threads achieve high pull-out strength. Inside and outside taper allows the screw to slide in and the core to slip out easily. Precision-milled 4130 Crom-Moly nickel-plated steel screws hold a sharp edge while minimizing friction. Hangers are stamped from 4130 Crom-Moly steel and are large enough to grip with mittens. The hanger is fitted with a Smiley's Organ Grinder Knob which pivots to make insertion and extraction a breeze.
