Summary:
I'm really just a gym rat, so these aren't exactly the shoes built for pulling plastic. But nevertheless, I love that they are comfortable and very supportive. Being a beginner, my feet aren't very strong, so I think these work out a lot better for me than a slipper type, etc. The toe box and heel are both a little big for me and my narrow girlie feet, but I guess that's what makes them so comfy. Overall, I like them a whole lot... but I just wish they fit a bit more snug so I can really catch those tiny holds.

Customer Service:
Sales associates weren't very knowledgable about climbing shoes, so it was really just a shot in the dark that I ended up with the Focus.

Summary:
Well, assuming you use these shoes what they are designed for(trad), they are really nice. They are a little bit narrow for my feet because they are built on a narrower last than many of the other La Sportiva's out there. Comfort wise, they aren't the most comfortable shoe out there, but they are very supportive. They suited me nicely because I prefer to edge and they do that and more.

Summary:
I am a large climber at 6'6" and 210 lbs. These are great shoes for me as they provide the sort of support that I prefer. I also have a narrow size 14 foot and these shoes fit really well with the laces pulled very tight. However, these are not shoes for only the physically odd! With 25 years of experience these shoes are the best trad vehicles that I've owned! A bit stiff at first, they soon limber up. I sized them a bit big and they still operate very well on 5.10 face and cracks. The upper toe area is particularly suited for minimizing painful jams. Perhaps the best trad shoe out there in my view.
