I'm quite plesed with these boots. They're quite comfortable and so are nice for long routes. They give plenty of underfoot support, as they are very rigid. However, this rigidity makes it hard to smear compared to other shoes. The build quality seems very good, and they seem very tough, even by my standards. I'd thoroughly recommend these boots, unless you're very keen on slabs, in which case you'd be better off with a pair better suited to smearing. Their smearing does, however, improve as they get broken in and the sole wears down a little.

Very good beginner shoe and very comfortable. Good on edges but horrible on overhanging or plastic and too stiff. The rubber is good but not quite par with C4. Great for all those with a very narrow heal.

Great shoes, very comfertable, good beginner and intermidiate shoe. I owned them for a year and wore a huge whole in each toe. I think they met there limitations at about a 5.11.

A great all around or trad shoe. I've had 'em for about 3 years of twice a month summer climbing and they're in the box to be shipped away for the first resole. Comfy for climbing shoes, these will be continue to be my trad/multi-pitch shoes.

But who really puts orange laces on green shoes?! it does give them character, though.

Just got these a short time ago, but I'll say that they are definitely on the comfortable side of rock shoes. Don't know what the complaints of the rubber are for, it's the same as Scarpa's other models. It's thicker, but the same. Great edge holding and no problem standing on small holds for a long time. I think I'll always have a pair of these in my bag.

I've owned dozens of shoes over the past seven years and these are one of the better pairs.htere comfortable anough for all day wear, have plenty of support and are bomber for quility.for a beginner shoe, or a do it all shoe there awesome. If you can only have one pair these would be a good choice.

Bad things:
A begginers shoe, but way to stiff. Acceptable outdoors but useless indoor. The rubber just not sticky enough (my girlfriends Boreal Laser delivers much more friction). And what's with that color? And the laces?

Good things:
Wide fit, hard to ware out. Build quality

Customer Service

Scarpa manufactures good stuff, i just don't like this specific design.

My next one's will be a pair of Boreal Matrix.
(...not so stiff :-) )

This is the first pair of rock shoes I have owned, but I have rented a few other styles, and this is my favorite. They have held up well, the leather still looks new. The color has faded a little, but who cares? I am about to get them re-soled but other than that I have had no problems.
