Really nice rope. It's a great all-purpose rope for me ... I spend most of my time cragging at the gunks, but my love is alpine routes. this rope may not be perfect for either, but it handles both very well. the dry treatment is excellent. i had to descend a teton route by myself during a downpour last year. several rapels, and at the bottom of a couple of them found coils of the rope sitting in icy mud puddles. the rope didn't seem to pick up any water weight. really impressive. it was still relatively new, so i don't know how well the treatment lasts, but so far i'm impressed. it also has a cool irridescent shimmer that gets a lot of compliments from stoned climbers.

Customer Service

excellent. when it was new, it started to feel lumpy under the sheath. the customer service rep took this seriously ... said it would probably go away with a couple more uses, but if not they would replace it. luckily it went away.

The ultralight arc is a kickin' rope. Where else can you get a 70 meter rope as a standard length. Granted, it's overkill sometimes, but you never have to worry about coming up short on a pitch and wetting your pants. The rope is a little stiff at first, but once it breaks in, it has an awesome feel.

Customer Service

custoemr service is some of the best I've dealt with
