Strength:

For starters, this board just WANTS to go fast, faster then anything I had ridden before, and its ability to remain stable soon had me comfortably cruising at speeds that would have made me pee my pants on my old board (Old Burton A-Deck). Macon car window repair

Not a beginers boat, But if you give it a chance a really great one. It jumps out of the hole,it surfs,it crashes gates and works like a dream. If your new to this make friends with it in small water before you take it to the big stuff. If you are a hard core open boater this is a great boat. Stockton Trailer Repair

I've been canoeing for about 10 years, and was looking for something lighter and smaller for fishing and exploring. Demoed about 15 kayaks before settlign on the Dagger Bayou. I simply love it. Most stable small boat I've ever been in, and it tracks great! The model was discontinued by Dagger a little over a year ago, but I found several brand new ones at Appomatox River Company in Farmville, VA., and they're great folks.

Customer Service

Haven't needed it.

Also own a Mainstream "Rhumba", purchased from Costco and made from the Bayou mold. Doesn't have all the nice extras that the Bayou has, but feels, paddles and tracks the same. Had a Wilderness System

Great kayak for starting out, wouldn't want it on ClassIII+. Excellent stability (only rolled it once, and that was on purpose to see if I could Eskimo it back - nope!) Price paid is Cdn$$, and I'd pay that again without a second thought!

Customer Service

Never been needed, this thing's nearly bullet-proof

I bought this boat as well as a Zydeco this past summer. It''s a great beginner''s rec boat if you don''t plan on taking it on long or overnite trips. The description says it has a roomy interior but believe me it doesn''t. The inside depth of the boat is so low that you can''t fit anything in the back behind the seat. They would have done buyers a great favor by including bungee tie-downs on the rear of the boat as well. This area is a huge waste of space. We are actually able to fit twice as much gear (coolers, etc.)in the zydeco which is a smaller boat. The bayou looks cool and handles great (very stable) but watch out getting it turned sideways against anything. I got it stuck sideways against some rocks and the low lip and shallow interior caused the boat to fill very fast. Did the same with the Zydeco and couldn''t rock it over far enough for it to fill. All in all for the price it''s a great day tripper.

Customer Service

Haven''t had any problems to find out.
