MSR Denali Evo Ascent Snow Shoes Review

MSR Denali Evo Ascent

Description
MSR introduces a sleek, new snowshoe this season, the Denali Evo Ascent. The Evo Ascent has the same construction as the Evo, but comes with saber teeth for extra bite and a heel lifter for easier climbing, making the Evo Ascent suited to steeper, more challenging terrain. Steel traction blades with saber teeth, crampons, and molded braking bars in the deck yield UNMATCHED traction, not to mention peace of mind on steep, death-ice pitches.

Summary:
I just got these for Xmas from family and I cant say anything better about them. They do make thing way easier, and grip like no other. I cannot wait to hit some burly snow. These perform better than any snowshoe I have ever used.

Summary:
To say the very least, these snowshoes are incredible. I have used a couple different brands and models in the past, and none of them have begun to compare to this one. When it comes to scaling vertical or icy areas, the saw-esq blades on the bottom grab in and make otherwise impassable territory a simple task (although tiring). When it comes to powder, the flotation tails are a must as the rather short frame isn't meant to work by itself in such conditions. However, with the tail, it truly becomes an all purpose snowshoe. I can't say enough positive about this product by MSR. I highly recommend it.
