Marmot Down Sweater Men's

Description
Take some warmth insurance along on your next outing--this down sweater packs down small and provides big insulation.. Nylon shell is filled with 650-fill goose down for superior lightweight warmth. Full-zip front jacket has a stand-up collar for added protection. Two handwarmer pockets zip shut for security. Jacket stuffs into its internal chest pocket, making it easy to pack along for an extra layer. Closeout.

Summary:
The quality of this jacket is awesome! The stitches are tight, the collar and pockets are fleece lined, the zipper draft flap is insulated with down and has no-snag material, and the arms are not too short. The jacket is not skimpy on down fill. I purchased an XL (usually wear a Large) since I wanted to be able to wear this jacket over all my layers when sitting around at camp, for belays, and in emergencies. I strongly considered the MHW sub-zero but it is too heavy due to the reinforced shoulders and is cut too short in my opinion and it uses 650 down vs. 700 of the Marmot. A down jacket needs to be warm and light, not reinforced like a shell jacket. The MSRP for this jacket is $160. BTW, Marmot Mountain works has it on sale right now for $111.
