Backpacker
, from Corpus Christi, TX, USA Summary: I own a half-dozen Ibex pieces, and will buy more as I save enough sheckles to do so. This piece is as advertised: wear it backpacking, wear it in town, it suits both places with a smoothness few items will match. Some garments scream outdoorsy gearomaniac, some speak in earth tones and do their job, which describes this Ibex piece perfectly.
The only downside to this--and most high quality garments--is price; $130 for a vest might be a lifetime purchase (and this one is), but it's also rice and beans for weeks afterward. Customer Service: Sometimes they do not reply to e-mails, but on the phone I've not had anything but good response and help from these folks. The unevenness might be growing pains, or even lost e-mails, which is very common with my server. Similar Products Used: None. I have vests, but none of them are nearly as nice as this one.
