Summary:
What a great jacket. The snaz jacket is form-fitting, harness friendly, and extremely comfortable. I have worn it climbing and backpacking all over Pennslyvania. The napoleon pockets are enormous! You can get to them wearing a pack. The fabric has been extremely waterproof, and nice and stretchy--which is nice for climbing. Taped seams make a perfect choice for all foul-weather treks. Can't say enough about the jacket or the company!

Customer Service:
No problems with the jacket, so no customer service interaction.

Summary:
One of the first stretch WP/B shells, and still really nice. I've had it for 2 seasons now, the fabric is holding up OK, no snags, rips, etc. I have the burnt orange color, it seems to hold dirt on the seams. The DWR long ago wore off and I've treated it twice since then.

It's as breathable as any 3ply product I've used or seen. I don't miss the pit zips, and the Napolean-style pockets are great (huge!). The hood fits great, hat, helmet or nothing at all. The stretch is not readily apparent, but I'm sure I'd notice if I were to wear a shell without stretch. And the cut is the new, slim-style that many companies are going to - in a word: GREAT! No extra material, though I think Cloudveil runs a bit slim overall, even for trim styling.

The hem adjustment stop-thingy is lousy, it's difficult to loosen the hem, especially with gloves on, and in the process of fighting with it I managed to rip the thing out of the jacket, so now it's a 2 handed tighten too.

3 stars for value because I think all WP/B's are too expensive for what you get.

Cloudveil is helpful if you call them about anything
