Day Hiker Summary:
This is my favorite trail running shoe. They fit great right out-of-the-box, however, I have found that you need to size up 1/2 size to get the proper fit for all TNF shoes/boots. TNF claims you can run on and off road with these shoes. I agree, although I would not do mid or high mileage runs in these shoes (the cushioning and wear would be susceptible), I have put them to the test on low mileage runs of about 2-3 miles and found them to be smooth and comfortable. Off road, these shoes really shine...the outsoles provide very good traction and cushioning is solid. Best of all, they are durable. I haven't had any problems with these shoes. Alas, TNF has discontinued these shoes and replaced them with the Flight Trail. If you can find these shoes, I would not hesitate to buy them provided that you have fairly normal feet (not wide or narrow). Customer Service:
