These Skis Rock. These skis did it all for me for 2 seasons; everything from speed runs down groomed faces to huckin cliff drops into deep pow! landed many of my first tricks ever on these things. love them and would recommend them to anyone. kind of small, but that only makes it easier for tricks.

Very good ski. I am mostly a park skier but i like to go everywhere. Amazing ski. It is a little heavy and chips easily but that is avoidable. Very strong ski and is perfect for everything. I got the last model of public enemy and it is da bomb. The graphics are crazy. Only complaint is chipping and a little heavy but that is perfect because i am not skinny.

Get this--I'm 58, type 3 skier, and was looking for something "fun" to play with. (all the twenty-something girls were busy.) I ski a Rossi B2 176 and it's a perfect all-around ski. I went shorter with a 164 PE and am stoked. No, I don't do rails, parks, pipes or jumps over VW vans. What I do ski is groomers, crud, off-piste, Oregon Cascade "powder" and the occasional foray through the trees. Anyway, this fine K2 is a ski I'd recommend to anyone from young park 'n pipe beginner to old guy cruiser like me. Easy to turn, good float and some wood core construction that, for my style, is bomb-proof. A bit heavy, yes, but that works well in Oregon crud.

Rossi BC Scratch--a bit lighter, made from the same tree, but crappy customer service. Salomon 1080 Gun--fine, lightweight fattie, but just try to repair it. Too much foam, not enough tree.

The PE's are my first set of twin tip skis. I bought them as a kite ski to ride on frozen lakes with marginal snow cover in the Midwest. The appeal over other skis of this type like the Dynastar Trouble Maker and Salomon Gun (formerly Pocket Rocket)was that they are stiffer and more burly (rivets in tips/tails thicker edges). I wanted a twin to ride switch, land jumps out of position without snagging the tails and have a torsionally stiff ski that can handle speed on hard pack and ice. With the possible exception of the Volkl Karma ($300 more), these seemed like the best ski of for my intended purpose.

I am not dissappointed with them over the 30 to 40 days I've had them out. They have very good edge hold, I've clocked myself at over 52mph with GPS on early seaon textured ice and they're great at holding an edge to load a kite up for jumps.

I had them mounted half way between the center mount freestyle position and the freeride position. This position works especially well on hard pack and ice. I have had them out on a foot of fresh and had no issues with float.

One minor issue I have is that the topsheets are soft and easily scratched. The edges tend to get "hangnails" of topsheet material slivered up from doing iron crosses in the air. Really this is cosmetic and has no impact on performance, but the topsheet material could be harder. Bases and edges have taken plenty of abuse with no issues.

Overall great bang for the buck in a twin tip ski!

I love my PE's. They are extremely durable and I can go everywhere in them whithout having to change out skis. I haven't had the chance to ski them in any real powder yet though. I think they're great on the rails even though they're not exactly center mounted. They're alot of fun, but they're a little too heavy and stiff for me. I'm about 130 lbs, 5'6". Overall they're a great ski though.

The Public Enemy is a great example of an all mountain twin tip. Powder, crud, trees, moguls, steeps, groomers, park, jumps...anything. Definetly a jack of all trades ski. Don't be afraid to try this even if you never plan on entering a terrain park. A fun ski....plain and simple.

These skis are nice in the park and the groomers. They handle the East Koast Ice which is hard to find in a freestyle ski. From charging your trail to shredding the park these skis do it all.

This ski is good for an everyday East coast ski. It is stiff for ice and crud, but it's also too stiff for park. It feels dead too. So it's not my favorite.

This ski is a high performance all-mountain, pipe and park twin tip. Works great all over but is home in the park. Really durable and stable ski. It is 85 underfoot so it aint too shaby in pow. Not to mention the awsome graphics on these babys while staying affordable like all k2s.
