Summary:
very versatile. loves ludicrous speeds. I don't keep skis for very long, but I've had this ski for almost 3 seasons, skied it for more than 150 days, and still haven't skied it out. it is probably tied for my favorite ski of all time.

Summary:
I love this ski. It is almost exactly the same as the Mod X's which I also own. IT is a better carver than the Mod Xs. A fast ski that can do any turn in any type of snow. I love this because it is lighter than the 10.20 whjich is also a abulous ski. I weigh 130 pounds and I can rip on this, bu I have talked to 200 pound guys that love this. This ski can be relaxed and it skis well, but you get really get on top of it and push to ski even better. I love this ski and I was willing to pay any price for it.

Summary:
For 5 days in Sun Vally, I demo'd every new ski I could get my hands on, ignoring the continual pleas of the store's staff, to try the 9.22. I only relented when, they, so confident that I would love it, said that beyond there being no charge for the demo, they would take 15% off any ski I might buy, if I would only try it.....
Someday, I'll learn.....
I'm 6'2" and 230 lbs. The 9.22 B Cruise was 190cm. There was no way this was going to work.....
In short, my 203cm. 10.26 Race's haven't left their locker since.
The steepest, most scraped off part of RIVER RUN suddenly became an enjoyable, effortless, exercise in carving turns, instead of an exhausting fight to hold an edge, while at the same time, trying not to break the sound barrier. Ten years suddenly slipped away! On the 3rd day, I skied bumps for the 1st time since breaking my back, 5 years before. And it was easy! I was actually enjoying skiing in a way I hadn't in years...........
I bought the skis that day.

In brief, if you are large, aggressive skier of at least advanced abilities.... If you have always preferred GS skis....but as you get older, you find them to be more and more work.......The Atomic Beta 9.22 is the ski you have been looking for.

So what if it doesn't say RACE on it? On the 9.22, one can still kick the ass of 90% of those arrogant young bucks, 20 years your junior !

Summary:
Everything. This ski can do it all. Great for powder or velvet snow. Awesome on jumps. Great for Bumps. Sweet for exploring new terrain. This is a really cool ski. In my opinion, it is hands down the greatest ski ever to grace the slopes. At least at Squaw Valley. A type II to III skier will love this ski. It can do anything that you can do, only better.

Summary:
I use these skis as part of my backcountry set-up. They are light and relatively versatile for the snow I encounter out there. No super deep or super wet snow. I've skied them in the resorts and was very impressed on the groomed, but in any sort of variable conditions they were thrown around. Untracked and smooth wind-buff are my favorites on the Atomic 9.22. I am 165 lbs.
