Double Diamond Summary: Volkl Carver Vectris 191's; First shaped ski I've owned. Unbelievable control and turnability, changed my style from primarily turning with the knees to the hips in a very short period of time. Great short turning ski on steeps also good on long GS runs. I have used these skis on bumps, jumps and halfpipes. A true performer. I need another pair of skis just so I don't ski the base off of these. My next skis will have some tough shoes to fill, so to speak. Similar Products Used: Dynamic VR27 195's, Kastle RX 208's

, from Bridgewater, New Jersey, USA Summary: I got the v30's. This is a great ski that I think anyone from intermediate to expert will LOVE! They are that quickest ski I've ever skied, and look great! I think volkl could market these a little better, rather than just advertising the Vertigo(which I've heard is also an awesome ski. I realized that not too many people on the trails have these. A lot of the reviews say that these are too expensive, but for what you're getting, i think it's better value then any other ski! Similar Products Used: Dynastar Speed SX(stiff tail that got you stuck in turns.

, from New Zealand Summary: These skis are ace. You don't even really need your poles. You only have to put them on an edge and they rake into the turn. Transfering back onto the other edge will snap you back out of the turn. You need to trust the skis to hold the edge when leaning onto the edge to get the most out of these skis. For a stiff ski, they are quite forgiving. The graphics are also impressive. These skis are quite expensive, but they are worth it.
