Summary:
I demo'd short 178 and long 190. I bought the 178 and love em. Go short with these skis and you can do it all. I've skied them on groomers and over the headwall at Tuckerman Ravine. Keep them sharp and hard pack speed skiing is comfortable, but not as stable as a heavier, damped alpine ski.

Summary:
I tried these at a demo and couldn't rest till I owned a pair. It's the most responsive ski I have ever tried. Great in the fluff yet it carves crud like butter and does well transitioning from one snow type to another. If I were really aggressive I might go for it's big brother the crossride 110. But for all around steep and deep this was a dream
