Light, but puts the protection where you need it. Adjusts for size (or hat wearing) with a liner insert. Adjustable air vents in front & back. Works well with goggles.

Removable ear-flaps would have been nice, but I wear a hat underneath when needed with the same effect.

OK, I'm a beginer, but that's all the more reason for needing a lid! Besides, where I ride we have more ice than pow! The Decaf is great; comfortable & adjustable for a variety of conditions. Even though there are no ear flaps, you can remove the liner insert & wear a hat or balaclava underneath (if you're too cool to wear a balaclava in -20F, you deserve to have your ears froze off). I haven't impacted it yet, but it is very well constructed & offers good protection. I've used helmets for other sports, & this compares very well. For me, it was a great value, but I bought it late in the season at a severe discount.

I found the chin-strap to be too small for my head and its a pain to adjust.

Purchased this lid after taking a couple bonks on ice and trees. I was going to purchase a Skycap but when I went ot pick it up they had no XL''s left, so I picked up the Decaf. I like the fact that is has no ear-flaps cus they are just annoying and uncomfortable. The XL still gives me enough room to fit my beanie under-neath comfortably.
