HardCore

Strength:

Control! Control! Control! Price: What a bargain for me! Perfect fit for my boots. Asthetically pleasing(not that that really matters), they look great w/my board.

Weakness:

Generic instructions, only one filler insert for use w/out wing. Hoped for another so I could use them on my Balance 160.5 in the pipe.

This review is for the 2002/2003 model year Burton MGT binding and I ride a size LG on a Burton Omen 163 w/Kevin Jones APX boots(Northwave Pro division). This is an all new setup for me after riding more of a freestyle, do anything setup in the past. These binding are ultra-responsive, and a perfect fit for my boots. My only complaint is that the instructions included are generalized and cover all Burton bindings, but give no specific help on customizing the MGT. Burton's customer service dept. was not much help in explaining certain aspects of the setup either. Overall, I couldn't be happier with them and have never ridden faster and had such precision at my command!

Strength:

-Wing give you additional support. -Fit perfectly with my booths. -Comfortable, No pressure point. -Easy to get in and out.

Weakness:

-Base plate where the highback lock latch in to broke once. But Burton repair it under warranty. -Buckles are plastic. -A bit pricey.

Very good and solid freeride binding. Only lilttle minor weakness that you will totally forget when you ride with it.

Similar Products Used:

Mostly rental and old Burton binding that I can not remember the model.
