Lots of pop. not the fastest board in the world and a little on the soft side. However, the rebound is what makes this board special. If you know how to ollie a snowboard, you'll be surprised at how high you can go on this. It's relatively light considering the wrap around edges and the true cap construction and the durability is excellent. An excellent board for those who ride at moderate speeds and like to air out on every little nook and cranny they see. It's a directional shape but the switch characteristics are very predictable. A true jibber's board. Somewhat narrow for my size 10 foot. The waist is 24.5cm. so size 9 or lower is ideal, taking into consideration, of course, your stance angles. One thing that impressed me about this board was the quality of the construction....especially the slider inserts. Most companies that use slider inserts don't use grids on the top of the T-nuts but Capita does. Good design because they stay put, even during heavy lateral forces. The same can not be said for some other companies that have used this insert design. The geometry is interesting because stance is set back about .75 inches implying freeride use but the sidecut radius is quite short (8.5). Also, the soft-mid-stiff flex pattern is more geared toward freeriding...again, inconsistent with the short sidecut. Not quite sure what Jason Brown was thinking when he designed a board with a freeride flex pattern and stance setback with a freestyle sidecut. Regardless, it works well as a slow speed, highly controllable jib/rail board but gets significant chatter at very high speeds. A very durable sintered base with ho hum graphics but that's a purely subjective matter.

i got the jason brown freestyle board (totally awsome series) and lemme tell ya all u hard core snowboarders out there theres nothing like it, the things you are capiable of doing that u couldn't do on anay other burton or forum board. plus the price was almost scary because when i bought the board i was like umm 400 whats wrong with this
