HardCore Summary: Jesus. This board is somethin else. I lived in Steamboat in the winter of ILL's first season and a friend of mine got a couple of their boards cheap or free. I'm 5'6" 135 and I thought it would be fun to try his brand new ILL 163 for a day. I did, I came home, and told him to get me one a little smaller. I ended up with the 159 and immediately stopped riding my cracked M3 and rode my new ILL 159 for the rest of that season, the next season, and the season after that. Well over 200 happy days later, the board is getting a little soft so I just bought a new ILL. Spread the word. The Illuminati. Similar Products Used: More brands than you've heard of.

, from san diego Summary: I bought this board having high expectations about every aspect of boarding (freeride): acceleration, turn response, transition response, high speed stability, low speed manuverability. This thing met every one of them and surpassed a few. this thing accelerates "unrealistically" fast, and it turns so predictably it raises your confidence out there (making me break my arm at mt high =/). if I ever lost my edge while in a turn, no matter how fast or hard, it was my own fault not some random dumbness of the board itself (like my old k2 spitfire). I rode it on hard packed snow on nicely groomed trails, some slush and some ice and it handled very responsive and predictable in all those conditions. so help make the ILL team make cash and buy a board cuz they deserve it, and you *probably* deserve such a crazy board. Similar Products Used: K2 spitfire 150
a few rentals, no clue what they were though [4 seasons ago]
