Rome Snowboards Anthem Freeride Review

Rome Snowboards Anthem

Description
A core profile shaped for moderate stiffness meets up with a semi- narrow waist, plenty of radial sidecut and variable transition zones for a quick, responsive feel that is also stable and reliable-a feel only found in the Anthem. Built for all mountain destruction.

Summary:
a great board. just amazing. i was intermediate rider before i bought this board. my very first day on it i felt like a pro. i was always scared of speed until i took her down the slope with ease and stability. when i tried my ollie i pretty much flew into the air. great for freeride and park. best board i ever ridden.

Summary:
I have never experienced a bigger jump in equipment performance than I have since buying the Anthem. I have been riding for 10 years, and I have owned a number of boards. This one kills them all. The first thing I noticed when I pointed the board down the hill was that it wanted to go fast, so I let it. Even at top speed, the board was as stable and controlled as could be. Next, I took it through some pretty heavy ungroomed crud. It floated and cut through the stuff like it was nothing. I got to the bottom of the run, and was like, "wow". I had a similar wow moment when I got stuck in a bit of a flat spot, so I did the little jump move forward, and the board ollied me up as if I had hit a kicker... serious pop. I demoed a number of high end boards before deciding on this one, and the choice was clear. Don't be afraid by the smaller brand, this board kills it.
