Snowboarder Summary: If you want to slice and dice the mountain with the speed and flair of a hibachi chef then grab this stick. It boosted my abilities by a quantum leap with the way it grabs and holds an edge without a stutter regardless of whether its charging morning groomed cordouroy, or an icy sheet on a black run that sends lesser boards skittering down sending thier riders back under the porch with the rest of the pups. Customer Service: Was really dissapointed with the 30% discount Fritzl gave me when Intersport cut all its stock by 40% at the end of my week. Absolute rubbish way to treat a customer splurging on a top of the line board, bindings and boots. Still love the board and looking forward to my first full season on it. Similar Products Used: Atomic (just not good enough) Burton Custom(good but you pay a premium for the name = bling).

Snowboarder Summary: Salomon Burner.. what to say - hmmm. Did a lot of research before hand looking for my perfect all mountain monster. The Burner seemed to fit my needs to a "T" just on its description. Tell you what, I got what I wanted. First off, "Burner" is definatley the right name for this bad boy because it absolutley FLIES! By far the fastest board I have ever ridden. What I found to be the best attribute on my first few trips is the sheer accuracy of turns. I do a lot of running in the trees and on diamonds where a small mistake will cost you pretty big. The Burner was extremely good in holding lines and has all the stability I could ask for. The 3D design really makes a lot of sense when you get the full description (check out the Salomon website). To tell you how much I like this board, I was a die hard Burton guy for years and caught so much flack for being a "traitor" to the snowboard industry when I bought a Salomon product (ski manufacturer). In my first experiences, it is worth the ridicule. I love this board and am not ashamed to say it.
Short and sweet... if you are a all/big mountain rider that wants a board designed specifically to handle things like backwoods kickers and deep powder without being the size of a door, the Salomon Burner will not disapoint!
