Description This Board is the lightest freeride board on the market. You only have to ride this board once to understand why it is called the megalight. Although this board is lightweight it has exceptional handling capabilities and carves like a race board. This board floats like a luxury car with power steering. You probably wont want to take this board into the park or pipe, but if you enjoy pure freeriding then you could not pick a better board, so for all you snowboard gear junkies this is the stick to own for the 2000-2001 season.
Summary: (note: price was in ponds and bought on sale in summer)
A very good top end board. Allrounder. Very good at speed, good edge holding, sensational ride in powder, and perfectly capable of jumps and tricks.

Summary: This is amazing,
I know its hard to find this board in the shop, especially in the Netherlands.
but if you can get a megalight don't think just buy.
I’m just back from Austria where I used this board for the first time, and I must say this board drives me crazy, now a now world is born. Was my old board so bad?? (a KillerLoop) You can make curves so easily and also on high speed the board is still under control.

Summary: The Nidecker Megalight is a very fast board. However, it is the stability at speed that really hits you when you ride it. Also, the off piste ability of the Megalight is just superb. You hit the fall line and think that you have pushed it too far, then the board just takes over and gets you out of trouble! This board is so much better than anything I've ever ridden before. It's expensive, but well worth the dosh as it is an excellent board. If you are looking for a new board for freeriding, then you cannot go wrong if you buy a Megalight!
