K2 Bike Spitfire Wide 2001 Older Freestyle Review

K2 Bike Spitfire Wide 2001

Description
Our most versatile board, the Spitfire can take a rider from day one through day one hundred. The Spitfire's directional shape lends itself to freestyle/freeride debauchery of all persuasions-all conditions and all abilities. Functional riding performance for mid-rippers. The Spitfire Wide brings functional freestyle/ freeride performance for wide-foot mid-rippers that need $40 for a lift ticket, not the signature board of some pro who really rides custom boards. Durable, fun and carve-friendly, the Spitfire Wide has a directional shape for the entire mountain. All condition riding performance with a grind-proof topsheet featuring graphics by a real artist.

I picked this board up cause' it was the right size. I'm 6'5, 300lbs and have sz 14 feet. This board rocks if you like to cruise and/or race down the mountain. No tricks though.

Summary:
It is a good board to start out with. If you later want to get into alot of jumpping or tricks. Its weight and low-flex-ability might get in the way.
