at Check-One Summary: Bought Bigstix 10.6 for skiing at the Powder mecca of Niseko-Hirafu in Hokkaido. Many days of deep untracked snow has lead me to believe that this one ski is the best ski ever produced. I skied the 10.6 everyday for 3 weeks can't wait to get it out again this weekend. So much fun. Similar Products Used: Atomic Powder Plus, Rossi XXX, Pocket Rocket

at Village Ski Loft, In Summary: Last spring I demoed the Big Stix 106's. They were great on the spring corn at Sugar Bowl. I had to buy these skis. This year I used them in deep powder at Kirkwood and Mammoth. Even better! Not only do they float through anything (corn, crud, pow) they also carve a nice turn on a groomed run and can even be used in the bumps (though not narrow troughs). They are very stable at speed for such a soft forgiving ski. The only thing I wouldn't use them for would be hard icy conditions. If you want a ski that will put a big smile on your face anywhere on the mountain (and make jaws drop when people see how wide they are on the chairlift) consider trying Fischer Big Stix 106's.
