Salomon Skiing Verse 10 Pilot All Mountain

Salomon Skiing Verse 10 Pilot All Mountain

DESCRIPTION

This integrated binding and ski combination package offers effortless performance that can be appreciated by both recreational and beginning skiers.. Monocoque single-wall construction offers a powerful edge-grip that you can feel on ice and hard-packed snow. Power Foam core with high-density, reinforced polyurethane offers optimized balance between tolerance and performance. Fintex uses shock-absorbing thermoplastic and a fine fibertex foil to dampen vibrations for increased contact with the snow. Prolink Mono uses a single polyamid arm to ensure fluent contact with the snow and responsiveness to forces applied on the ski during a turn. Pilot system includes S710 bindings, which use a double axis to allow skis to flex naturally; bindings are only compatible with Pilot System skis. Carving plates increase the boot height by 12mm for improved performance and to help prevent your boots from dragging in the snow. Automatic wing adjustment ensures the boot is properly centered. Vertical progressive pivot provides a controlled release for a backwards fall. Removable brakes are easily dismounted for ski maintenance.

I worked at a ski resort in Japan and I hadn't skied in about 6 years so was rubbish at first. Then I managed to borrow a pair of these from my boss and my skiing drastically improved. Very stable and great on ice (which there was a lot of late season). Not so fantastic in heavy powder but then for an all-mountain ski I didn't expect them to be. Wish I could take them back to NZ with me.

I owned the salomon verse 7's for 10 years and really got every cent out of them , they are now pre/spring season skis.

I picked up the 04' pilot verse 10's and they are awesome! the bindings feel great and its one connected ski.

just wished they were a little stiffer. i figured a 10 ski would be stiffer they are more like an 8.5.

I've bought this ski as a total beginner. However it was a bargain for 100 bucks, I believe that it could worth a lot more. With this ski my beginner skills are improved a lot, and I can safely go with the black pistes. I can only reccomend this stuff!

Awesome skis period! I bought the Salomon Verse 10 Pilot when it was first released to the market about 5 years ago. I thought upgrading it since it has been 5 years old. I demoned the Volki Unlimited AC2 because it got raving review. I still like the Salomon Verse 10 Pilot better. It is more responsive and a lot of easier to curve on most surface. It performs great and is also a very forgiven all mountain ski. I decided to keep it. I am very happy with these skis.

Okay, I'm sold. I wasn't sure if was or not, but when I tried these for the first time I was having a blast taking on every challenge the mountain threw at me. Bumps, powder, steeps, and even through the trees. The pilot system makes turning these boards effortless. I was dancing all the way down the steep runs without stopping to catch my breath. They are very stable at high speeds considering their width. They took me from a struggling-be-an-expert to yawning down the black diamonds. Excellent ski and bindings (pilot S710).

Great ski & binding combo. on the Verse 10. This ski will get you to the next level. Great carver, fast, stable, even on ice. Very forgiving ski, especicialy on bumps & moguls. Adapts well, although not as good in deep powder. For the price I paid I was skeptical about the performance, but after my second run, I was impressed with the ease of handling no matter how aggrssive I was w/ the ski. Great all mountain, highly recomended.

These skis are perfect for any part of the mountain. The pilot system is great. The Verse 8's might be better for beginners, but the 10's are great for everyone else. These skis carve great, and perform well on moulgoals as well. I recomend these skis to everyone.

The great thing about this ski is that you know that the binding are built for it so it is a perfect set up. I found they were allot more stable than the Salomon crossMax 10 Pilot on pised and still awesome off piest (as well as cheaper). They are still light enough for tricks and other thing’s, And if you are thinking of saving money by getting the verse 9’s its worth spending a little more for the 10 pilot's, and with the pilot system know other ski’s are even close.

Ecellent Ski for all levels of skiers. A person could begin on these and go all the way to expert level before buying new skis. The Pilot System is amazing. The ski does exactly what you tell it through these bindings. It performs well on everything except powder deeper than 6". Cuts turns better than some of the best carvers I''''ve used. The only downfall is it is a bit heavy. The responsiveness required some getting used to. I would recommend this ski to anyone interested in an all mountain ski that carves well and is effective in the sloppy stuff. Salomon has outdone itself with this ski -especially the Pilot System.
