Summary:
Salomon teneighty's are excellent in the park with good pop and flex. However, the durability of the foam core brings it down. Over time, the core loses its pop and livelyness.

Summary:
Salomon 1080 are park skis. The foam makes it great when you get it with pop, lightness, and such. But it breaks down.

Summary:
I've rented various 1080s over the years (originals, spacframes and this year's Foil). These're great skis; they have been the number 1 twin tip for ages. Freestyle skiing has a lot to thank these skis for, they upped the bar when skiing was beginning to be branded as boarding's sad old uncle.

That said there're better skis out there now. The spaceframe is really light and forgiving but it's just not as responsive as some of the wood cored models. This means that it's slower edge to edge and not as calm in moguls.

I also prefer wood core for jumps, you get more pop and the landings are absorbed better because the wood has a naturally progressive springiness rather than the more linear absorbtion of the spaceframe.

These were really good skis, they've just been eclipsed by recent offerings from elsewhere (Rossi, Dynastar, K2, Line).

Price Paid:  $800.00 at XXL sport Oslo Norwa

Summary:
Skis are great from intermediates all the way through to advanced freestylers. I'd say these improved my skiing instantly. Very easy to spin because of the light weight, skiing switch is effortless and carving both regular and switch is easy becuase of the sidecut. Also very stable in jumps and landings. I got a bad deal on the price. Wait till the end of season sales before you buy. The skis came with Look P120 Jib bindings which aren't bad. They've got a built-in flex to allow for off balance landings so they don't disengage unexpectedly. That is, you don't have to crank up the DIN thing to keep them on your boots.

Summary:
since they dont have an option for 2002-2003 space frames i will tell you a little bit about them. I used to ride the original 10's and those are amazing, once i put the new 171 silver space frames, it completely changed my skiing ability these skis are sick everywhere!
