Price Paid:  $199.00 at Rudy''s at Wisp

Summary:
I had skied a few times on traditional skis, then rented a snowboard and hated it, so I traded it in on ski boards. I loved them, so I went out and bought a pair of Fatties, simply based on the price and reputation of the K2 name. The next day I got out on the mountain as early as I could and shredded these skis all day. These are way too much fun! Obviously I don't have much to compare them to, but as an intermediate skier, I found them fairly fast and stable, at least for ski boards, and they seemed to be somewhat forgiving when making minor errors. Bindings are supposed to be "No Release," but I got them to release. (One of those minor errors I mentioned) Overall fantastic experience with these ski boards.

Customer Service:
Rudy''s is a great shop; very helpful in answering the questions of a virgin ski-buyer. Best prices in Deep Creek Lake.
