This is a superb boot in every way. I have a relatively wide foot, but only had one hot spot after the first day of skiing. I went back to the shop and after they heated the boot, it molded perfectly to my foot and the spot was gone. Performance on the slope is spectacular providing outstanding edge control and comfort. The boot is reasonably stiff. The other boots I considered were the Salomon Impact 10. However, the Impact 10 felt like a high top sneaker compared to this boot. It was way too soft. This boot is a real winner. Comfort 10 / Performance 10. You will love it.
