Price Paid:  $285.00 at on line

Home or Favorite Resort:

Product Year:

Summary:
This ski is sweet for tele (as I have them mounted), I can do most any radius turn easily and stability at speed in groomed, crud, and pow is just awesome. They are damp yet responsive. You can lay out fast warping arcs on groomed or porpoise and float in the pow at virtually any speed. Like any ski, it took about 7-10 days to really dial 'em in but once you know the ski......yer set. Not sure about alpine skiers but if you are tele, don't be afraid to buy it if you are an expert.....it holds up.
I have posted this in summer of 2001 so there may not be any around but if you find a hardly used pair or new pair on sale then jump on them. No sure what atomics replacement ski is gonna be.

Strengths:
Very stable at speed and in the crud, carves quite nicely with little effor or wring it out the the max. Sweet in pow

Weaknesses:
somewhat wiggly on ice, but hardpack is really not a problem, you just need to ski it more precisely. Wide tail for bumps

Price Paid:  $300.00 at connrad sport Garmish Germany

Home or Favorite Resort:

Product Year:

Summary:
Great Alpine touring ski for any situation I ski it every where on the mountain in any condition the great thing about the 9.22 S is the way it transitions from the hard pack to the off piste and back.unlike other skis the stiff dynastar super Yetes and wet noddle Tua MX 110. After sking through the trees for a while and coming back on piste it can get a little jumpy but the 9.22S transitions smothly back and forth You do have to work to ski it in the off piste but back on piste in the hard pack the ski does it all by its self. one grat all mountain ski.

Strengths:
great turning ski
lots of spring in the off piste
short turns in the trees are a snap the ski turns it self
nice clean turns with very little tail drag
its the greatest touring ski matted up with the Diamir/Fritschi Titanal II bindings you cant beat this combination

Weaknesses:
soft in the shovel

Product Year:

Summary:
Great ski looking to buy a new pair and would like to try the 9.26 and 9.18 carve. Skied Rossignol viper and found the 9.22s far superior. This ski is a great ski for those that don't want to work too hard getting down the hill or don't spend a lot of time in the gym

Strengths:
Great for effortless carving. Skied in some crud and was very pleased even though I weight 200 and skied 180's. Should of had the 190's. real easy to turn

Weaknesses:
Not real stable at high speed.
