$80.00 Summary: This goggle has one feature that distinguishes great goggle from merely a good goggle- the side vents. The only other goggle that had those vents was the old Uvex ClimaZone goggle and that one has been defunct for a number of years. With the side vents all you need to clear the goggle is to get some speed for a couple of seconds and they never fog in normal skiing. The only time I had a slight problem was on a very wet deep powder blizzard now day at Tahoe when it was literaly impossible to pick up any speed. Still the goggle stayed mostly clear. The lenses are amazingly clear and I haven't managed to scratch them in 4 years I have been using them. The visibility is excellent, I haven't noticed any blocking of peripheral vision whatsoever. The frame is also pretty solid and the whole goggle makes the impression of a quality product. Yes, it is expensive and sometims very hard to find but it is definitely worth the effort. If you ski often and demand good performance from your equipment, this will be the last goggle you buy for quite a while. As an added bonus it does fit well with Carrera/Leki racing helmet.
