at Copeland Sports Summary: These were my first bindings on my first snowboard back in 2000. Back then I didn't know too much about snowboarding so I purchased these because of the recognizability of the K2.
The toe strap on this binding is very poorly designed. it uses a manual ratchet system and a buckle system on the front. This leads to the front buckle always coming up under aggressive snowboarding. I have the large size that goes up to size 13 and my size 10.5 boots would always cause the front strap buckle to come up.
The back strap is nice, but the ratchet system is very rough compared to other brands like Rome or Burton, as it tends to skip a lot. The nuts that on the rear strap are a major weak point. Despite the fact that I always tighten my gear up these nuts in the back (4 of them) they would always come back loose after a few runs. I actually lost a nut during a run and my left boot was able to slip out of the binding. So I had to go to the hardware store to find a replacement nut for the back strap.
As for the screws, I never had any problems with the screws coming lose on the binding plate. Perhaps it depends on the board itself.
I definitely do not recommend these bindings, they are unsafe and unreliable.

at Arinsal, Andora Summary: Nice comfy responsive and bullet proof binding, toe strap popping undone so changed it, as for the bolts working loose, just put the nut on nylon first never came loose again in eight year, given them to a friend, must be another 10 year left in them and still don't look dated. at idk Summary: Ok my parents suck. They went out this year and said they would pay for binding, if i paid for everything else. Ok sounds good. They didnt say they were geting 8 year old bindings. These bindings are falling apart. They wont let me get something new with my own money. I broke all 4 ratchets in the first 3 times out. RIPPED OUT OF THE BINDINGS 7 Times. im sure the bindings were ok 8 fricken years ago, but now they are terrible.

at Sports Experts Favorite place to ride: Mt.Tremblant Riding Style: FreeStyle Product Year: 2001 Summary: This binding is really sweet, it's comfortable, it's got enough flex and stiffness to give you a nice smooth ride.
Very good binding to purchase for its price I recommend it to anyone who loves freestyling and just riding down the hill. Strengths: Great price. A great solid binding that blows away many other bindings. Comfortable, the toe ramp is awsome, love the adjustment options, the anzle strap provides great support, the metal ratchet on the ankle is the best ive seen,it has great quick release on the toe, love the soft base pads, damping system is the best, strong and light, it's in all around great binding. Weaknesses: Nothing. For everyone that says the screws come loose its probly because you dont know how to setup your board.

at REI Favorite place to ride: Northstar, sugarbowl Riding Style: All Mountain/Freeride Product Year: 2001 Summary: Good bindings. i agree the screws come loose fast. great freeride binding. I actually have the 2001-2002 model. I think they have made some great improvements from the earlier models. Strengths: The toe ramp is awsome. they made an improvement this year and put a little metal on them. All the screws and the baseplates are covered to keep snow and other crap out. I put these on a santa cruz freeride board and it makes a sweet combo. To fix the bolt proble go out and buy some locktite at the hardware store. with the bolts fixed i have no more complaints. I would reccomend them to intermediate freeriders. Weaknesses: bolts come loose, plain graphics. Similar Products Used: Ride, killer loop and countless rentals
