Price Paid:  $100.00 at 100

Favorite place to ride:
Mount St.Louis

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
I actually got this binding as a package deal with my snowboard. I heard the name was good so I bought it. At first I thought it was pretty good, but as I used it more I found problems. I guess that goes with any other bindings. I haven't really tried any other bindings so I can't compare, but all I can say is that they are still working for now so I guess it's OK.

Strengths:
I like the padding on the straps. They look professional and durable....unlike the cheapo foam pads I see on some other name brands. Plastic clicker system is OK. Boltless front straps are cool.

Weaknesses:
The front straps don't tighten all the way so my boots are still loose. The padding on the heel cup rips easy...I guess from constant rubbing of the boots.
The bolts from the baseplate are too long that it screwed over my board. I had to keep tightening them becuase they always get loose and my binding shifts. Now I have bumps under my board from overtightening those screws. The colour is not too matching, I have the one with a porceline baby blue that does not look good at all.....not to mention that it clashes with any other color.

Summary:
Although I ain't no pro, these bindings are perfect. I haven't had any difficulties with them yet

Strengths:
This is a really great pair of bindings, they are comfortable, and are just right for beginners. The colors are also really nice on it.

Weaknesses:
There is this little back screw on the back that loosens sometimes.

Price Paid:  $40.00 at Trailhead

Favorite place to ride:
Moonstone

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
Overall seem very fragile! I was really disappointed in this as the sales guy made a point(?) of selling me the one he thought was the most durable. Both the hard plastic buckles which seem like they could fracture very easily and the straps which become extremely stiff in cold make this overall a somewhat lame product.

Strengths:
inexpensive - bought during a closeout sale
easy to adjust

Weaknesses:
incredibly fragile
First time out the rear foot toestrap broke off in my hand. The straps seems to get extremely brittle in cold (-10 Celsius).
