What you can see here is an old-fashioned key-hunting and hub levels. If you miss some switch and advance to the next section of level, you'll be to return and spend lots of time hounding for it. And playing this game I had to check every inch of the map to be sure not to fail the mission. Sometimes I thought I was a kind of detective or spy, not the superman with devastating weapons as Turok seemed to be. Summary:
Turok 2 continues genre of 1st person action or 3d shooters, so it can't be called very original one. You can find some very nice animations in it, when your foe dies for example, but the game in whole has a lack of design.Turok 2 environs are rather plain and unimpressive. Of course, those waterfalls and fountains and light effects are marvellous, but they resemble an oasis in a desert of plain walls and crates.I think creators of Turok 2 should spend more time to invent something that would distinguish their creation from prehistoric shooters.
