Price Paid:  $179.00 at Gorge Performance

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
these boots are not worth it. trust me, i bought mine in '01, used them twice, and here i am today trying to find a sucker dumb enough to buy them from me. tremendous amounts of heal lift and toe room allow for an unpleasant ride full of sliding around inside your boot and wincing in pain as you must strap your bindings extremely hard in order to keep your boots tight. not worth it, avoid these bindings at all costs.

Strengths:
They're supportive and comfortable if you have Andre the Giant feet or if you have Elephant Man disease.

Weaknesses:
Terrible design allows for way too much footplay

Favorite place to ride:
Mt Hood Meadows

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
I have ridden in these boots all season and dread putting them on each time I get to the mountain. I ride goofy footed and without fail after about two runs my front foot is numb and asleep. I currently have this boot matched up with a Bent Metal BMX binding which is super tight and is the only thing that really keeps my foot in place. The boots just allow for too much toe play and don't keep them tight together so it makes your toes go numb. I searched for like 2 weeks for the perfect boot and thought this was it. I am very disappointed and would not recommend them to even a crazy monkey. Burton really needs to work on getting the toe box a little tighter, and making a product that fits. For those of you planning on buying a pair also plan on purchasing a bottle of advil

Strengths:
Keeps Advil in Business

Weaknesses:
Too much sloop in toe box, heel lift, numb toes etc

Price Paid:  $185.00 at The store

Favorite place to ride:
Song mtn.

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2000

Summary:
Warm and stiff, leftt foot is comfy as hell, however I ride with my weight on the right ALOT, Thus a pinching problem with the right boot down where the liner folds over itself. I selected these boots after a long intensive search. They felt more comfortable in the store than any others(vans, sims, whatever..), But after riding them for about four hours I had to stop because of trhe pinch in the right boot. also I had problems with my toes being crushed in the front. On the upside, They ARE warm and stiff, and if you can get past the small probs, they work great!! I will continue to use them this year.
