Price Paid:  $110.00 at Ski Chalet

Favorite place to ride:
Vail,CO

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
You get what you pay for. These boots are cheap and they feel like it. My feet were numb after one hour with these boots on. The heel lift was the worst I've ever seen. On the second day of my skiing trip, I had to go to the ski shop and get myself a new pair of boots.

MY advice is to spend a little bit more and get a pair of nicer boots(Salomon are great!).

Price Paid:  $130.00 at Peter Glenn, Miami

Favorite place to ride:
Banff, Canada

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2002

Summary:
I haven't tried out alot of boots, cuz I don't have money to burn, but these boots are pretty darn good for the price! My feet stayed dry and warm all day and I rode 4 days in a row 9am-5pm with lightweight socks (no liners). I have last years Ride EX bindings and they fit perfectly. Also, I have skinny ankles and these boots have extra padding at the achilles tendon area built in which helped keep my heels in place, but I need more "heel-staying" support! Overall a good boot for beginners and some intermediate

Strengths:
heel pads to help reduce heel lift and quick lace system for liner and PRICE from a quality manufacturer

Weaknesses:
can't think of any yet

Price Paid:  $140.00 at boardgarden

Favorite place to ride:
Alpine Meadows California

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
What's everyone whining about? These boots are fine! I'm a beginner just getting onto the big slopes, and my style sucks, so these boots got a hard workout the first time out, and all I can say is: I rode 'em for 7 hours straight and at the end had dry, warm feet and had basically forgotten I was wearing the boots at all. Maybe when I get to be a big mouth snowboarding hero (who's too cool to remember when I sucked) like some of the nimrods writing these other reviews, I'll come back and complain about how these boots suck (since mommy bought me some really nice ones and I don't have to wear these any more), but until I become a subhuman mongoloid, these will do fine.

Strengths:
Don't lissen to the lamers, these boots are dry and warm, just be sure they fit you BEFORE you buy them (novel idea, huh)8

Weaknesses:
Bring out the lameness in othersB
