Favorite place to ride:

Riding Style:

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
So I got these for a good price because they were a year old. So far they've been great. I just broke the shim under the laces though, which is unfortunate. I like the stiffness, as my foot is a 13 and my board's a Wide, so it helps move it around.

Strengths:
Nice and stiff, doesn't feel mushy like some northwaves and vans I tried. EVA midsole is great too.

Weaknesses:
The shim under the laces broke the other day, after a plane ride. Maybe it got so cold in the cargo hold or something...at any rate, I want another and Burton can't find the part. Booooooo.

Similar Products Used:
This is my first pair of boots to own, so I don't have much other experience other than trying on mush-buckets from northwave and vans.

Price Paid:  $200.00 at a shop in Park City,

Favorite place to ride:

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
Had an old pair of black soft airwalk boots for 6 or 7 years which started to come apart on me during a trip to Utah. I was getting massive heel lift and it was killing me so I went to a shop and on a reference from a friend picked up the Drivers because they seemed to hold my foot in place well. I was right, my foot never lifts with these boots. However I found these boots very uncomfortable and difficult to maneuver in. The boot is extremely stiff and does not allow you to bend your ankle at all. After two years I'm done trying to get used to these boots. I've fixed my old airwalks and I'm gonna ride with them again this season. I'll probably sell my Drivers.

Strengths:
Well built, holds your heel in place

Weaknesses:
too stiff, uncomfortable

Favorite place to ride:

Riding Style:
FreeStyle

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
A nice stiff boot with pleanty of support and style while also being nice and compact. Dont pay new price but on sale they are great value.

Strengths:
Stiff enough for freeriding but with the RAF system removed great also for freestyle, I persoanlly cant ride them with the Tongue support in as they are too stiff. Inner laces are great and heel lift is minimal to none. Nice and compact fit very snug into my Drake F60 Ltds.

Weaknesses:
Take a while to wear in and arent too comfortable in the beginning. Once worn in though they become comfortable. Other people have complained about leakage, but spray them with Scotchgard regularly and there is no problem.
