Summary: Great bindings, style from different colours, quite a lot too. Not need for strength to pull and take on and off.
Strengths: Easy strap which fits nice and feels comfertable.
Weaknesses: They can get a bit scratched, but it comes off with something. Don't know what really....can't remember.

Product Year: 2000
Summary: If you are going to use these bindings, you SHOULD have burton boots so they are completely intergrated. Otherwise, don't waste your money, and buy their "race" bindings.
Strengths: Very easy to use and extremely quick! Great for large feet. I have burton fire boots, so I use the intergrated heels. very cool!
Weaknesses: second day, one of the toe hooks breaks... caused a big crash... it was replace, and works perfect. Must have been a defective piece of metal. Only really problem: Way too expensive.

Summary: i used this setup for 7 days; an excellent combination for people who want control and stability while traveling at a good clip... it really holds on the ice fields without chatter. the harder you work the slope, the tighter the binding gets... BUT you need to step into the bindng firmly to begin with; any looseness will be an amplified problem if the binding is immediately subjected to a hard load!!! initial looseness combined with a poor fit for the toe bails/lugs will cause them to fail. i suspect that is what happened with the previous evaluation. this combo can really throw some deep, tight trenches in the corduroy....
Strengths: solid control with absolutely NO slop! you set your edge and the reaction is instantaneous...
Weaknesses: trailing leg experiences cable stretch when implemented with the Burton Fire boot cable release heel. an adjustment fitting could be easily added (like bicycle cable adjustments...)
