Review Abstract
After several days of break-in time, boarders love the Ruler’s “inner liner that conforms to the feet.” Reviewers agree that they are great for “carving in ice or deep, packed snow” and that they respond to your every move. One reviewer says that the “side entry system beats all others because the snow won't clog up the system.” Boarders say they give a “wicked response on heal and toe edges” and are “not sloppy” like some other boots. With a “good heel cup,” they allow for “great turns” and “big air.”

Summary:
Burton Rulers SI 2001. Boot fit's nice and tight, toe's are cramped as hell... Tried the next size up and boot fit too loose. Must be a design flaw... or ment for people with short feet... I normally wear a size 10 1/2 had to go to an 11. I do have wide feet but what that has to do with my toe's being cramped the "long way" I don't know...

Strengths:
Nice tight fit. Boot fit's sold everywhere BUT the toe's. That shiz-nic is TOO TIGHT for the big toe!

Weaknesses:
My toe's FREEZE! I basically have to wait for my toe's to go numb, before I can start having some fun... If you want to call it that. I end up loosing the feel of the board cuz I can't feel my toe's.

Favorite place to ride:
Sierra at Tahoe

Riding Style:
All Mountain/ Freeride

Product Year:
1999

Summary:
Not bad. Fast and easy. definitly satisfied. there is slight side movement with boot in the binding which i did not like because i was use to the strap bindings and a very tight connection w/ the board. But after using it for a while I've gotten use to it and like it better then the strap in most riding. (feet dont go asleep now)

Strengths:
high back makes it more stable then non high back.

Weaknesses:
Boots too heavy and klompy. Very stiff, not good for back country hiking like i hoped they would be because of the high back.

Product Year:

Summary:
I've been using these boots for 2 seasons and I hate them. It's very uncomfortable, the only way for me to get any decent amount of riding on this thing is if I sit for 30 min, yanking on the laces and the boots to make them as tight as possible, resulting in my fingers and hands bleeding (i'm serious). The front toe area is very tight. Overall I would not recommend this boot to anyone, especially a girl who does not have as much strength in their arms and hands.

Strengths:
umm... they look nice

Weaknesses:
everything. These are the most uncomfortable boots. Very hard to tie the laces, the ratchet is always in your way when lacing up your boots, tight in the toe area. LOTS OF HEEL-LIFT
